Please give us a short summary of your website?
We provide therapeutic grade essential oils and essential oil enhanced nutritional supplements and natural personal care products that are free of chemicals, pesticides and heavy metals, for effective wellness solutions.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To educate the public that they have a choice in their wellness solutions with products that are natural, healthy, effective and cleansing. Humanity lives in a world that is bombarded with chemicals - from the food and water people ingest to the shampoos, soaps and toothpaste that people use every day. Education enables the people to make a different choice and empower themselves and their family in their healh and lifestyle.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first web site is www.dianaewald.com, which is called Opening Doorways to Heal. This site describes the various alternative healing modalities I have been trained in from massage to craniosacral therapy to energy healing such as Reiki. Again, I am offering a different choice for people to transform their life through natural healing methods.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Aromatherapy Living describes how I live every day and how I believe everyone should live - using therapeutic grade essential oils and nutritional supplements that cleanse the body of chemicals and restore balance to the cells, tissues and organs. We also have a fabulous line of natural personal care products which I use every day that also contain therapeutic grade essential oils.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Young Living is the world leader in essential oils and the development of nature's purest healthcare products. In total, our farmland now exceeds 4,500 acres with the addition of a new farm in Ecuador.
Our essential oils are tested by independent laboratories to meet and exceed industry requirements on chemical constituents contained within each oil in order to be labeled therapeutic grade. Gary Young has also created a proprietary distillation process which guarantees the potency and purity of each oil - they are unadeulterated, uncut and free of chemicals, pesticides and heavy metals.
We are also the first company to combine therapeutic grade essential oils within nutritional supplements which delivers the nutrients into the cell. Our oils are able to pass through the blood brain barrier.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal is to educate the public and offer them a better choice to improve their health and lifestyle so they can reach their highest potential.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I do not compare the investment of my time and money to helping people. I am very happy to assist anyone in choosing an empowered life regardless of the time it takes.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would hire someone to list every product we have on my site!
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely! The beauty of our company is that orders are placed and product is shipping directly to the consumer from our warehouse.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I have not experienced any problems with operating my company. I only have minimal costs such as my web site domain and hosting. I work out of my home unless I am traveling to people's homes and offices to meet and educate them.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Keeping up on all the emails I receive!
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Linking to other sites and putting the address on all of my business cards and marketing materials.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I love the web and enjoy hearing how people find me.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have had www.dianaewald.com since 2001; I have just created www.aromatherapyliving.com recently to get more exposure. I plan to keep both sites regardless.
Why do you do this?
I am passionate about helping people to empower themselves in their health, lifestyle and freedom. For too long we have been programmed to live unconsciouslessly, believing everything the media and government advertise. We do have choices and getting back to nature and away from man-made chemicals that destroy living organisms, will restore health and well-being to all of us.
