Brushing your teeth twice daily is recommended. If the circumstances forbid or you do not have time to brush your teeth, at least rinse your mouth with water or mouthwash. Your toothbrush also has a lifespan. You need to replace them every 3 months, but you need to replace them more often if you got sick within 3 months. This will prevent you from recontaminating yourself from certain disease viruses that were caught in the bristles. Also brush your tongue gently to eliminate any decay-causing bacteria that lives in it. And please, do not let other members of your family use your toothbrush. It's a personal item, no one owns it but you.- Visiting the Dentist
