The average diet in America is high in sticky proteins. These proteins stick to the walls of our colons and create a paste that coats the intestines. A normal person should have two bowel movements a day. There should be one in the morning and this one should be a foot long at least. Then there should be a second one later in the day usually smaller in size. Most Americans are lucky to need one bowel movement a day and it is rarely a foot in length. It is unlikely that the average person has the time to alter their diet as needed but if you can try this:
1. Cut down on sweets especially those that contain high fructose corn syrup.
2. Fresh fruits and vegetables are a must. Try eating a breakfast of fresh fruit.
3. Get your fiber. Celery...Bran...whatever floats your boat.
4. NO FAST FOOD! This crap will destroy your efforts.
5. Drink your 8 glasses of water.
