I am proud of what I do and how I do it. This is my passion
I love the journey life has taken me on since I needed to find a more natural way of dealing with skin problems, I have along way to go as there is always something new or more to learn about my craft.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched our first sit in 2002 but I was so misinformed about the whole website thing that I did get ripped off. A lesson in life, our new site has been my little baby and I am always learning new things with it.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Wunday! This is what my partner and I always said oneday we will own our own piece of dirt so when we eventually bought our block of land we called it Wunday and now that we are in business we thought why not.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The love and care that I try to impart in all the products we make and the fact that I can make and change anything to suit a particular skin problem my customer might have is just something that the big companies can't do for their customers.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My main reason for putting up a website was to allow the customers that we sell to at craft markets and the like to have the ability to re order whenever they like from any place. Most of my customers are by word of mouth or travelers on holidays and purchasing at craft markets that I sell at. I want this site to be an extension of my business.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Time is my biggest investment on my website and at present sales are increasing slowly and repeat customers are happy.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
That is a good question and at present I am reasonably happy with our progress and I feel confident that we are heading in the right direction.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I think so but who knows until or if it happens.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Cost I have pretty much got sorted out but headaches do occur I will admit that. Not knowing how to do a certain thing and having to take the time to teach myself, that is probably my biggest headache as things don't come as easy once you are over 50.
