MRSA, known as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, multiple-resistant Staphylococcus aureus or oxacillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (ORSA), is one of the cause of the infections that are difficult to treat. They are hard to treat because they are strains of bacterias that are resistant to some antibiotics, like penicillin for example. Mostly, MRSA starts in the nostrils. But in some cases, they can also be located in open wounds, urinary tracks and even on the respiratory track. There are some that we call healthy carriers. They already have MRSA but do not possess the symptoms and can be a threat to others. People with compromised immune system are most likely the ones to suffer much. Being the youngest in the family means a lot. As I grew up without my siblings because they have to go to school, I have to be behind and be in the cares of my mom. I grew up with her in the kitchen, seeing everything she cooked for us, and constantly asking what are the ingredients that makes a good recipe. She will always say that one food can taste differently from one another by just using different types of salting method. She says the person who knows more how to salt will always have the best product at the end of the day. Better be safe than Sorry. This is what my father usually says to us siblings when we were still kids. Having a doctor in the family, gives us the pressure to maintain out health, especially if the doctor is the head of the family. My father always remind us to prevent ourselves from acquiring even the simplest disease as much as possible. I know why he's so strict when it comes to health policies, not only because he is a doctor, but also because it would be a shame for a doctor to have a sick child. Father's pride.
