Name of your website?

Physical Therapy in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County at Back To Health Physical Therapy

Your name?

Robin Dreyfuss

Your Location (city, etc)

Fort Lauderdale

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Back to Health Physical Therapy in Fort Lauderdale Florida provides physical therapy services to try to help patients avoid surgery on their backs and necks, thru specific excercises. We utilize MedX machines, which are state-of-the-art.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We opened our business 2 years ago, and needed a website to showcase what we do both to patients and to the doctors that refer them.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched our site 2 years ago, at the same web address I have listed here.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

"Back to Health" describes just what we do, and the "pt" at the end, is for "physical therapy".

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We are different because we use MedX machines, and are the only physical therapy shop to use MedX in Fort Lauderdale, and because of our experience in bringing back and neck pain sufferers back to health.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our goal is to expand, bring in more doctors, and open more facilities. We are young physical therapists, looking for a way to work for ourselves and do the job we trained for, rather than working for large outfits that tend to roll right over patients.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

At the beginning, there was alot more time than money, but after 2 years, we are beginning to switch the tide, so to speak. We are considering moving to a larger facility at this moment.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

That's hard even to imagine, but I'm sure we'd buy more MedX equipment!

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Our site is a showcase, not a sales catalogue, so no chance of that.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

We need more physical therapists! It's surprising how hard they are to find, particularly ones that will take the hours that we need to fill.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting thru to doctors has been our biggest challenge, as we need to convince them of our service. Once they send us a few patients, they are convinced and send more. It's that first patient that is hard. The second hardest thing is getting insurance coverage. Blue Cross Blue Shield still eludes us!

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Keywording has been the most successful, as much of what we do involves pretty specific keywords we don't have much competition for. We have exercises for adolescent scoliosis in Fort Lauderdale, for example.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

We wish we got more inquiries from our website, and hope that working on pagerank will improve this.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We will always keep it up as it showcases what we do. It is a necessity, even if it's only the doctors we work with that look at it!

Where do you see this company in 5 years?

Hopefully, we'll have 2 or 3 locations, and 6 or 7 physical therapists working for us. We'll have dozens of doctors referring patients, and brand new MedX equipment!
