Probably the most important meal of the day is always the breakfast. It is the most important because we have just woke up from our long sleep, in which in the process uses relatively a large amount of what we have consumed in our dinner last night. And breakfast, which is recommended to start between 6am to 7am, plays an important role in providing the energy we need for the whole morning, and perhaps for the whole day.
Studies shows that people who eats breakfast are more likely to be more energetic for the rest of the day than those who did not consume any. There are times when we feel very energetic in the morning and it will go throughout the day. But when we do not take breakfast, we feel gloomy and a bit depress, and we can bring that until we sleep.
Studies have also found that kids who eats breakfast are more likely to participate in school because they are more focus on their lessons than on their hungry stomachs. And I cannot imagine a parent sending their child to school without breakfast, that's like a punishment!
Recommended breakfast meals include foods that are high in protein, carbohydrate and rich in calories. If you are worries that your child will gain a lot of weight and become a young obese, then you should lower the food intake on the lunch and dinner, or at least the calories during lunch and dinner. But never do it on a breakfast.
It is important that the meal you have for breakfast is high in energy sources. You can't have junk foods on breakfast, as you will develop acidity in your stomach.
Hot meals are also recommended, because they tend to awaken sleeping spirits and readies the person for the whole day of work and activities.
