Learn which home remedies work and which ones don't. Let us be your one stop, online resource, for information concerning home remedies and treatments for a variety of conditions.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I was tired of going to web sites that contained 'folk remedies.' I wanted to create one that was backed up by research.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Jan 11, 2008. This one

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted to include home remedies in it, the word digest adds a certain scientific air to it.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

If we can not find scientific research proving the effectiveness of the remedy, we will not recommended it.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I am currently living in a nursing home. I hope to be able to make enough money from this web site to pay for a live-in caregiver.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I am following a 10 step program provided by my web hosting service.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would hire additional writers, so that I could add content quicker.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I would hire additional employees.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None, so far.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Learning how to market on the Internet has been my biggest challenge.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Right now, my objective is to get several directory listings. I am also learning how to use the social networks.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It was a lot more complicated than I realized.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

My site has been up for a little over a month. My goal is to create between 150 and 240 pages.

How much money do you expect to make?

I hope to make between 2000 and 4000 dollars each month.
