From the morning we wake up, we put our brains to non-stop job. Actually, our brains still work even if we are sleeping. Our mind actually is the main powerhouse of our body. It runs everything, it even controls how your heart should function in a way. Remember seeing your crush that made your heartbeat faster? Blame your brain for it. It commanded your heart to go on a rage. When we see falling leaves, we know that they are falling for reasons like, they are old leaves, the strong wind blew them out or something forced it to the ground. How do we know that? Because our brain tells us. A healthy brain remembers a lot of things. Once you experience or witness an events, touched an object, heard a music, saw different things, our brains store those information so next time you encounter them, you know them already. That is, if you have a healthy brain, if you have a healthy mind. So how do we keep our minds healthy?
There have been chemical products that promised better brain functions, that can help our minds be as healthy as possible. Little did we know that we actually do not need any medications to make our minds healthy.
First of all, always remember to give your brain a break. It's natural for humans to have headaches after continuous work or have migraines in some cases. It is advisable that at least every 45 minutes, take time to relax, for 3 minutes. You can have a glass of water or do some stretches.
For longer spare time, try to read and explore new things. This way you promote new knowledge for your brains to store. You always need to renew what you know and learn new things everyday. Life is about growing.
Try to express your thoughts to others. Tell them what you think and once in a while voice out things you don't usually say. It will help your mind be cleared from negative thinking and will help you do the things you need to do properly, without grudge or anything.
Meet new people and exchange ideas. Debates are always healthy for the brain, but not too much as it may promote hatred or grudge over the others' opinion.
But last and definitely not the least, you need to treat your brains for some calming moment. After an exhausting day, try to listen to calming music. Whenever possible, visit scenic places. Possibly you can attend yoga classes and spiritual sessions. Treat yourself to massage parlors and spas. Think and do things that are spontaneous and natural. This way, you can help maintain your minds healthy.
