What inspired you to launch your own website?

It makes things simple for the consumer.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We chose a name that reflected the actual insurance plan for simplicity.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Believe it or not, our site is the only one that gives you a rate for Tonik Health Insurance before you apply.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To be able to offer health insurance to all of Californian's not just locally.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We are at a break even point.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would shift my focus from PPC to organic searches. This forces you to develope a complete website.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Absolutely!

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Website design. We work with a really good one now.

Trying to figure out what are the best keywords to use for our particular product3

Pay Per Click (that's going to change)

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I spend more time promoting it than what I thought.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The internet is a great vehicle to deliver a product. With that said, we will always keep this site and will always keep it as simple as possible for the consumer.
