What in the world is an aloe vera? This is the question asked to me by my British friend. I don't know if aloe vera is really not that popular to many but for me, aloe vera is one of the most common word I have heard since I was a kid. So I told him what I know about aloe vera and what do we do with it, what are the uses and importance of it. I need a little help from our friend YouTube to supply us with the video. Aloe vera is obviously included in the family of aloes. If you don't know what is an aloe, they are plants that are usually used as ornaments in pots and gardens.
Aloe vera has more use than an ornamental plant. It's leave are broad, fleshy and sticky.
I have known aloes since I was a kid. We have a lot of them in our backyard. My mom used to have a lot of them as decoration but I also learned that it is also used as a medicinal plant.
Aloe veras are more often used as hair conditioner. It is said to keep your shiny shiny and manageable. It also kills louses as well. It also helps you keep your scalp healthy.
Aloe vears are also known for its anti-diabetes elements. It regulates glucose level if taken orally. What my do with it is to boil 2 or 3 leaves in a cup of water and then its ready to drink. Let it cool first hehe.
Other uses of aloe vera is linked in curing cancer, colitis and killing micro organisms.
